Description: Lovely antique Georgian Seed Pearl Brooch, beautifully made and in very good condition! Very tight rows. The Flower form Seed Pearl Brooch has an open work design along its border with the largest Pearl in the center. The Pearls are well matched in color and luster. The color described as off white. We believe just one tiny seed Pearl is missing. The reverse has a Mother of Pearl backing and low carat gold clasp with a flat bar across the back with areas of aged patina. This lovely small Antique Pearl Flower Brooch measures approximately 3/4” in diameter. Exquisite piece. Rare to find these Seed Pearl Cluster Brooches in such good condition. Dates to the early 19th century; early 1800’s. Shows very well in the photos and just as pretty in person! The photos were taken on different color surfaces with and without a flash.
