Description: Offered is an antique French wooden fruit or wine press, c. late 1800s to early 1900s, appears to be handmade, measures approximately 29”H at the twist crank’s lowest setting, 17-1/2”W, 14-1/2”D. Includes three pieces (heavy base piece, twist crank and press box wrapped in metal strips. As found at a local estate sale filled with French antiques. Occupants of the home traveled to France several times a year and returned with beautiful treasures for their home and shop. Selling as is, unsure of how it originally functioned or if there were additional parts. Would make a great conversation or display piece for a wine bar or French Country home. Lovely patina and character. Very nice condition with normal age appropriate wear. Bright or white spots are camera glare only. From a smoke free, pet free home.
