Featuring a beautifully engraved spreader knife and 3-pronged fork, as well as an elaborately pierced serving spoon and flat server, accented in gilt vermeil finish. The handles patterned with neoclassical motifs, including stylized acanthus, scrolling foliate and palmettos; the service ends with a Grecian wreath detail. All housed in their original presentation box. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Each piece is hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark indicating a silver content of .950/1000. Bearing maker's marks for silversmith Henri Gabert, active 1882-1901 at 112 rue de Turenne, Paris. Total silver weight is 112.4 grams.
