Description: A large, antique 19th century French porcelain serving tureen. This is either an Old Paris piece or early Limoges. The tureen is just under 10 inches tall, is approximately 14.25 inches long from handle to handle, and weighs over 7 pounds. The tureen is in excellent condition with just a flea bite to the underside of the lid (the tip of the pen is pointing to it), some light gold wear that is mainly to the unglazed rim of the tureen, and there is a very faint water stain on the lid that looks like it was caused by water dripping out of the vent hole in the finial after the tureen had been washed (the tip of the pen is pointing to this too).
