Description: Antique french aubusson tapestry velvet table runner Beige Blue Green Fringe this is a stunning french antique table runner. incredible detailed panels of blue and green floral border tapestry using different techniques of french knot, tapestry and aubusson. runner has beige tapestry background with Aubusson details and blue velvet colouring. measures approx : with trim 119cm x 28cm gold/brass/bronze? trim with a bit of metallic shine on certain angles, trim feels rough. Fringe on either end of the runner. runner is in good antique condition, has signs of aging and use. One of the small blue corner velvet panels has come away from the edge. one end of the runner is more faded in colour The other end of the runner has green colouring through the trim. Not sure if this is intentional or not. Please see photos 7&8 Some small stray threads. Runner is backed with a creamy colour fabric. This has marking on it. Please see photos.
