Description: Up for sale is a beautiful antique European street scene etching depicting many figures on a cobblestone road with building behind and to the left. One man sits upon a white horse with others walking by his side and others look from afar. The print is illegibly signed in the plate just outside the print in the lower right corner and housed in a period frame. The etching measures 13.25 x 17.25 inches while the frame measures 19.5 x 23.25 inches. The level of detail is very nice which is one of my favorite aspects of etchings which can be seen in the figures faces and every individual stone that the road and buildings are made up from. The condition of the print shows overall toning / discoloration and imperfections in the margins. Some minor little creases within the image.
