Although it has a typical style of sports cars from the '30s and '40s, it is a design made in the '80s that, without being a replica, takes the spirit and style of those years but with the modern mechanics available in its years of manufacturing. It was an idea by Luis Gaggino, a national businessman from the electromechanical industry who synthesized the basic idea of producing a series sports car with elements from the local industry, without it being a replica or akitto assemble. The design was commissioned to Pedro Campo, who already had vast experience in the subject, having developed sports cars with resonance in local motorsports such as theTrueno Naranja, the TruenoSprint, and the Chelco.Finally, producer and designer agreed to make a low-production sports car with a classic style that would avoid thinking about periodic updates.
