Description: Lovely set of FIVE antique Victorian transferware ironstone serving plates. Produced by English potters Beech & Hancock, the set is done in the fabulous and whimsical Pekin pattern, a wonderful example of the Chinoiserie style. This plates feature bright pinks, yellows, and greens and depicts Royal figures in a fantastical garden. Circa 1862-1876. All pieces marked on the reverse side. What a wonderful addition to any collection! Dimensions: Each Plate: 7-1/4 in, Diameter, 3/4 in heightWeight, Set, unpacked: 2 lbs., 14 oz. Condition: the set presents well and is in very good antique, used condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age. There is very minor utensil wear, and minimal loss to finish.
