Description: Antique Elgin National Pocket Watch Co. Gold Filled Excelsior Vintage 2" READ. I Know nothing about watches so I will try to describe this the best I can, please ask me questions if needed. I don't know if this is gold filled or gold, I don't see any marks other than the Excelsior. I didn't want to scratch it to test it. The glass is missing and the top ring at the winding piece is not original. The face has a little bit of stains and a few fine cracks in the ceramic nothing bad that can't be cleaned. The hands are not bent. When it is opened up the little wheels do move freely when this is tilted. They are not loose, the are spinning like they are supposed to. The wind up does work but this needs to be fixed as far as I can tell. It works for just a little bit then stops. There are some scratches on it and wear, but no big dents. It is beautiful.
