Description: Antique Early, Primitive & Crude Stoneware Crock (unsigned) About 7.25 inches tall. Diameter on base is just north of 6 inches. Diameter on outer lip is 5.5 inches. Hard to give a date on this but likely dating to around 1870-1890. Despite the small points of damage described below this crock still retains its structural integrity although it is being sold as a crude and primitive display piece. Check out the pictures to see the condition. In dug condition. Has 3 quarter inch dings with material missing which are all pictured. Also has a hairline fracture running down from the lip onto the side of the crock. All points of damage can be seen in multiple pictures. This crock also has changing color scheme due to the way it was buried and what it was in contact with underground.
