Description: Key Features - A very rare rare industrial looking stool that was often used as the top half of a draftsperson's or seams-person's stool or for patrons at a bar/tavern/restaurant. Sometimes it was purchased on its own for lower seams-person's work, piano playing or even as a milkers stool in a dairy - Though incomplete it is in a very attractive and curious state, and speaks volumes for a design period somewhere around the 1920s or 1930s. - In the last 3 gallery photos, we've provided a complete stool example showing how the design was utilised with a bent wood structure underneath. These photos also provide some evidence that this chair could possibly be a rarer Thonet model. Please note that these 3 photos do not represent the chair for sale, they are only for reference. - As you can see from the underneath photo shot provided, the legs are hollow (now corked) to allow for the wooden leg insertion. - The chair measures 35cm in diameter. The height can be extended to around 30-35cm. - 5KG in weight Pick Up / Delivery We send our items within 3 business days of receiving payment.
