Description: This listing includes an antique ladies' belt buckle. It is marked with the early honeybee mark for E.A. Bliss Co. The buckle is made of some type of black steel. Most of the Bliss buckles I've seen are gold plated. If this one was originally plated then the plating is gone but it looks real good the way it is to me. The buckle has three faceted pink glass stones arranged vertically in the center. It measures about 2 5/8" long and 1 1/2" tall overall when hooked. There is a third piece that was with the buckle when I obtained it from a local estate. I believe it would be used sewn onto the clothing to hold one end of the buckle in place. This buckle is in fine structural condition with no dings, no loose stones, and no other sign of abuse or damage. The finish is the only condition questionable in my mind. Please note that I did not clean the buckle so it will look even better cleaned. I used the flash on one picture so you can how bright the pink is.
