Description: An enchanting antique original Victorian 1890's two piece visiting dress. The dress is made of pale gray cotton. It has a black wreath pattern and inside the wreath is a small pink flowers. The dress is lavishly trimmed with black velvet ribbon. The bodice is also decorated with black silk on the shoulders and front opening. The sleeves and front opening are decorated with tassels. A tassel is missing on one sleeve. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a hidden front button closure. The skirt has a back train and is unlined and is also lavishly decorated. The dress is in good condition. There are two small pea size holes on the back of the skirt, a couple of tiny mends in the skirt and some line age discoloration on the bodice sleeves. The high neck collar is decorated with pink silk and this silk is splitting. I would just remove the collar. Color gray is a bit darker then is showing in the photos.
