Description: Excellent example of nickel silver drawing instruments made in the late 1800's by W. H. Harling London. This type of instruments was used in maritime navigation by sailors, architects and mechanical engineers. The well fitted Morocco leather wood and blue satin case incorporate a combination of 12 instruments: two compass dividers with additional accessories, three spring bows, two medium bows and two drafting pens. The case is in very good condition with a bit of wear and tear due to the age. Majority of the instruments and the box have the original maker markings Harling.
