The detailed map shows the river Seine crossing the fortified city’s streets, parks, churches, cemeteries, rail lines, etc., as well as famous attractions, such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Arc du Triomphe, etc, though not the Eiffell tower, which had been inaugurated about 10 years before the map was published. Printed in a light golden brown color, the map also sketches the surrounding countryside. Blank verso. Includes the pages from the corresponding encyclopedia article.
