Samuel Pearce, A.M.WithExtracts From Some of HisMost Interesting LettersCompiled by Andrew FullerPhiladelphia:Published by the Baptist General Tract Society.[No dates in publication sections but the latest date I came across in a brief survey of the text was 1829 with the style of the binding and illustrations likewise indicating circa 1830s to 1840s; thus book is likely 1840s]. Antique, scarce, fully bound in decorative tree calf leather Baptist General Tract Society book with gold gilded and embossed design to the covers and spine face. Exterior of the book is clean with some chipping, crazing and loss to the outer leather layer of the spine face as well as rubs to the outer edges of the spine and outer corner edges of the cover boards. Book is structurally very well intact and is internally very clean with some minor foxing to the endpapers as well as toning to pages throughout. Pages are sturdy and have no become brittle. First and last endpapers are marbled as are the page outer fore edges. Book's binding is tight and sound and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book totals 300 pages, measures approximately 6 7/8 x 4 3/8 x 7/8 inches and weighs about 3/4 of a pound.
