Description: Charming, timeworn textile with many hand mends and repairs ! ~*~ This very sweet antique curtain panel is French and dates from the turn of the century, c 1900. Heavily timeworn in many areas, ideal only for someone that can use this gorgeous textile in this condition ( please see condition details below)~*~ This panel has a wonderful floral and insect pattern , very popular in furnishing fabric of the day. The ground fabric is a twill weave, heavy weight cotton. The ground tone is a very pale mint green with lovely pinks, reds, minty greens and off-white ~*~ The original fringe trim runs along the bottom and 2 original wooden rings are still hand stitched to the top ~*~ a gorgeous panel, ideal for hanging, pillows, curtains, upholstery etc ~*~ ~ (PR 24)MEASUREMENTS: This gorgeous panel measures : 31 wide by 123 inches long ~*~ CONDITION: This fabric is freshly laundered. There are many large tears and holes on this length. This panel has many many hand mends and the top 1/4 is backed with a panel of cotton to add strength so it can be used without fear of deterioration. There are pale storage marks that run the length of this with fading from use.
