Description: Offered is this beautiful antique porcelain crescent shaped oyster plate from the 1800's. Marked on the back with the numbers 1677/37 impressed into the clay. This is made before 1891. It holds 5 oysters and has 2 other wells for sea food. The inside of the oyster wells are pink, each with an oyster "scar" and the two other wells are light yellow and white. The background is a light blue color. It measures 8.5 inches at its widest point. It is in excellent antique condition with some light wear on the high points which is normal.
