Description: For your consideration is this antique original copper downspout collector box. The box itself measures 27 x 11 1/2 x 14" deep. Overall, it measures 29" wide across the back and 19" tall. This one is dated 1929 and retains an old weathered oxidized chippy black surface. It is solid and stable in every way, but it does have dents, dings and repairs. While the back is an old piece of sheet copper, it has been replaced at some point. Whether it never had one and one was simply added for a later use, or it was actually replaced is hard to say. It would make a great flower box, water feature or simply a wall hanger with your choice of contents. This one makes a statement with its size, and I can't remember the last one I saw with a date on it. Please study the photos and ask any questions you may have.
