Description: The coloring and lettering on this washboard is still surprisingly good, despite the rough and worn edges of this washboard. This board has clearly seen some heavy laundry use in its day as well as heavy rough and ready use around the homestead before it was tucked away in storage. Well, it's surfaced again, and ready for a new home that will appreciate it's character, history, and story told by the dings and dents and marks and mar. One side says: E. Murdock & Co Winchendon, Mass Colonial No 0500 Reverse side appears to have a scene depicted, but it's very hard to make out. Zoom in to pictures for reference. Glass washboard has some damage as pictured - the biggest blemish is the chunk out of the bottom. Not visible from the other side, so this piece will still hang beautifully and serve as decor for a farmhouse chic aesthetic. Approximate dimensions are: 25" x 13" x 2.5" Heavy - approximately 5 pounds.
