Description: Antique Webster Sterling Silver Triple Cigar case, gilt inside. This item was most likely made in or about 1910. Monogrammed: RAS on the top, in fancy script initials; also marked "STERLING" on the top The Makers mark and "STERLING" also appear on the bottom of the case. This case would hold three small cigars and is slightly tapered on one side. See photos. This has been in my possession since 1982, and was owned by a family member for years before that. The hinge and the closure work fine. The inside gilt is still vivid. The Webster company was started in 1869 by George K. Webster and from 1950 it became a division of Reed & Barton.
