Description: Lovely little unusual Chinese table lantern - put a candle or an electric light inside it to see the beauty of the reverse painted glass! Carved wood frames slot together to make the lantern but one tab is broken, leaning a little gap as you can see in the photos. The paintings have a little loss and wear but surprisingly good quality and look. The glass does come out of the frames so handle with care! Lovely when lit up. Guessing this is early 20th century tourist ware. I don’t believe it was part of one of the hanging ones, but was designed to sit on table top. 8” tall and panels are approx 6 2/4 wide
