Description: This is a old set of Chinese three (3) porcelain flower shaped footed bowls / plates. The large yellow bowl diameter is approx. 8 1/4". The height is 2". Lovely hot pink & white flower surrounded by butterflies and green & red florals. The background is bright yellow and has a red carved border, then a emerald green border. The bowl has a fluted top. The underside of the bowl is decorated in a shape that looks like clouds. The footed part has a curculat design in red. Marked "CHINA" on bottom. The traditional wisdom has it that between 1890 til 1920, all Chinese items that were to be imported in to the United States was required to be marked with the word "CHINA". The smaller yellow plate is also marked CHINA. The blue bowl is marked MADEINCHINA. The blue plate is alot heavier than the yellow one. Small bowls are approx 6" in diameter. All three pieces are in excellent condition.
