Description: This marvelous antique bottle is created in gorgeous white with royal blue Peking glass, a process in which the artist covers the white hand-blown bottle with a layer of royal blue glass. The artist then grinds away the blue to create a beautiful organic floral plant pattern. The top is a beautiful coral colored glass, set into brass with the inside of the top is stamped "CHINA." This stamp was required on all items imported to the United States from 1890-1920, per the US Stamp Act of 1894. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=3 inches, Width side to side at widest=2-1/4 inches. Depth from front to back=1-1/4 inches. This marvelous Chinese glass snuff bottle has been well cared for, gently displayed and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks or other imperfections. The snuff bottle top lid is missing its spoon. The blue surrounding the top appears with some wear in spots. It is the perfect addition to your snuff bottle collection, particularly if you like the very artist Peking glass.
