Description: This is a small Chinese Ching Period ceramic / porcelain medicine bottle with a wonderfully subtle raised floral design beneath the glaze. It is one of the more unique pieces in my porcelain bottle collection. This original item was produced in China for export to the number of Chinese Communities scattered through Southeast Asia. This original piece dates from the Late Ching Period and is approximately the size of a standard Antique Chinese Snuff Bottle. This bottle has a light green / blue patina & was purchased by my father in Penang, Malaysia during the period he owned a Southeast Asian antique shop on the island in the late 1970's early 1980's.
