Description: 3 bone dishes, china dinnerware, are for sale. These date around 1900 (anywhere from 1890 to 1904 -- these dates are those of the East Palestine Pottery Company which originalted in 1890 and was sold in 1904, at which time the manufacturer's mark was changed). The maker's mark is on the bottom of each, E.P.P.Co. (for East Palestine Pottery Company). I see no defects, scratches, or mars in any of the three pieces except for a minimal chip on one of the dishes and some barely discernable age lines on a couple of small areas of the finish (see photos, although a few age lines, just barely visible if at all). Subtle floal pattern, scalloped edges with golden trim, and about 6" long. Due to the short period of operation of the EPPCo and the antique age of the items, these are obviously somewhat rare. (Bone dishes were used in the 19th century, mostly, to hold fish or chicken bones.)
