Description: Antique Child's Primary School Wooden Desk With Glass Ink Well. Weighs about 25 pounds and is 26 1/2" tall, 24" wide and 18 1/4" deep with one open shelf. Desk was originally purchased in the Northeast, but I do not know the school details, age, manufacturer, etc. I have owned it for over 30 years - stored, not used. Top has a slot near the back for pen and a hole for and includes the original glass ink well. Medium wood tone - maybe walnut? Top does have some scratches and imperfections as well as the 3 boards that form the top have separated - see photos. Sides are attached with wood dowels and there are metal brackets supporting the shelf - one of the metal screws holding these brackets is missing. Bottoms of legs have metal bases on them.
