Description: Up for your consideration are two antique Shaker cherry wood boxes from the late 1800’s. These were picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. These have been displayed in my beach house for many years. The large one measures 2 inches high by 5.5 inches long. The small one measures 1.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches long. They are a matched set and made by the same hands. They make lovely little trinket boxes. This antique trinket box is a small cherry wood pantry dresser with a pointed fingered design, dating back to the 1890s. It is an original Americana piece from the US Northeast region, made of wood in the Shaker style. The maker of the box is unknown. From my personal collection. Selling to downsize a bit. New items listed every week. Please see and save my eBay store. Many repeat customers. You never know what will be for sale.
