Description: Maker: On the reverse of this lovely cup and saucer are two green backstamps of Charles Ahrenfeldt, one of the great Limoges firms at the turn of the last century. One is white ware mark number 3, confirming that the company produced the porcelain between 1894 and the 1930s. The other is a green Ahrenfeldt decorator's mark indicating that the set was produced for R. H. Stearns & Co, a high-end store in Boston at the turn of the last century. Design: Accented in gold, the beautiful pattern features large pink and yellow cabbage roses against a background of fine pure white porcelain. Condition: The set is in excellent condition for its age and fragile material with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs or crazing. There is light wear to the edges and handle. Size: The saucer is 5 3/4 inches wide. The cup is 3 5/8 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall. The set weighs 6.4 ounces. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
