Description: Offering a very old cast iron spider cooking pot. This great fireplace hearth cooking tool measures approximately 17" long x 5" high, the cooking bowl is 9" in diameter and 2 3/4" deep. It is heavy, stands on three legs to elevate it over hot coals for general cooking. The pot has lots of character and some rust typical for its age. It is a wonderful antique Early American cooking vessel that makes a great decorative accessory in the Country Kitchen, or next to the fireplace. It still has plenty of use left in it; also perfect for reenactments or camping. Please see photos for details.
