Description: This is a vintage CASE 6265 SAB “Folding Hunter” pocket knife.The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.Pattern # 6265 SAB, 5-1/4” closed.Brass liners with pinned shield. CV (carbon) steel blades.Both blades have super strong snap.Clip blade has slight wobble.Blades have each been lightly sharpened; blades are full and have been lightly cleaned and polished.Handles are "worm groove" red bovine bone with great color.The handles have no cracks or damage.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
