Description: Up for your consideration is this antique fireplace mantle carved scallop shell marble keystone. This keystone dates from the mid 1860's to about 1870. There are a few minor blemishes and some paint and plaster residue (see photos) that can be polished off is one chooses to reinstall on a period mantle. I have left the original patina in case someone desires to hang as an art piece. It measures 10 3/4" in H, 8 3/4" in W and 3 1/8" in D, and weighs 11.8 Lbs. I will have 4 keystones listed for sale.
