Description: This is a classic Tool Kit Knife Set made in Solingen Germany around 1910 by Muller & Schmidt. All tools are stamped with their trademark of a Circle w/5 Arrows. The fine leather case has a working metal spring clasp and is fitted with loops to hold all the pieces. The locking Handle piece is 3.75" long with a tapering shape. Fine hardwood handles with a small chip out on one side. It locks the individual tools into it. There is some wobble/toggle with the tools are locked on. Tools included are: Chisel, Hammer, Scissors. Gimlet/Awl, Can Opener, Spear Point Knife Blade with tin sheath/cover, File/Screwdriver and very sharp double-set Saw. There is also a little leather box that slides into one of the loops. It holds a Whetstone. There are a couple empty loops so something might be missing. Otherwise, a rare find with some much surviving. Other neat thing is this set was retailed in Bogata, Columbia by Pizano & Ortiz. Interesting history about them if you Google them. A great set and all original. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my Feedback.
