Antique C.1850's Daguerreotype Thermo Plastic Case Picture Frame

Description: Up for your consideration is this absolutely fabulous C. 1850's Daguerreotype Picture Frame Case. It has a Angel flying on the front and back with other ornate designs. On the inside is a is a stamped cartouche on the velvet portion.. The other side has a Gold Filled foil type frame. The outside is made of Thermoplastic. There is a chip on the back edge and some discoloring to the velvet on the inside. There is a pin missing also on the back. It doesn't affect much from what I can tell. I was able to lift the foil portion on the inside carefully with flat tweezers. That is where a picture would go. Other than that all I see are small signs of aging.
