Description: I found this guy in a street market in Paris. He has no markings so I don’t know provenance. But I believed it is antique since this piece is very similar to other Victorian and Edwardian pieces I’ve seen. I believe it is bronze or brass because of the white oxidation which tends to occur with those metals. It also looks like it used to be a brooch at some point. You can see on the back at the bottom there looks like there was a piece removed. What do I know? I know this little lion is charming as all get out. It’s a beautiful color. Has a nice weight to it and a lot of great detail. It would look amazing as a pendant or charm. I hope you love it as much as I do.
