This is a pretty antique bronze sculpture, in the Renaissance style, after Giambologna ( Florence, Italy 1529-1608 ). Depicting a horse on 2 legs, with the right front and left rear foot raised. Ecorche or skin removed to show clearly the muscles of the horse. Signed on the upper side of the horse tail P. J.Mene ( see photo ). Standing on a very thick black marble rectangular base. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work.
