Description: Brass antique camera lens measuring approximately 5.75" tall. The lens states Voigtländer & Sohn, Wien Braunschweig. The serial number 29740, No. 5. The serial number indicates that this lens was manufactured in 1884. There is some yellow cracking visible on the edges of the lens glass. There is dust inside the lens as well. The top of the lens has one prominent dent, and a couple very minor ones. The bottom of the lens has a couple very minor dents. The brass finish is quite worn, with some wear and chipping which is visible in the photographs provided above.
