In the Tulip pattern with blue undertones, it features decorative blue leaf motifs & blue bands. It bears impressed company marks on the base of the saucer and plate. Circa: 1853-1871 Dimensions: Cup: Diameter: 3 5/8”, Height: 3” Saucer: Diameter: 6”, Height: 1 1/8” Plate: Diameter: 8 ¾”, Height: 1” Product Weight: 2 pounds Color: Blue & White Material: Earthenware, Ironstone Makers Mark: Plate: Impressed Number 2 E & F. Saucer: Impressed in circle form; Elsmore & Forster, Tunstall along with impressed “2” in center. Origin: Tunstall, Staffordshire, England Condition: Previously owned – used. Over 150 years old. All over crazing is present on three pieces. Plate: Light discoloration/staining on front and back center. Some color wear – scraping on blue band. Faint spur marks (kiln support marks) are present on front of plate from the making. Cup & Saucer: 1/8” nick on blue band of saucer. Spur marks are present on both pieces.
