Description: Stunning antique hand painted porcelain cabinet plate, produced during the Bloor Period at Derby, circa 1825-1848. Plate features a cobalt blue and gold decorated border with a center scene of Italy. Measures 8.75” in diameter. Hand marked on back in red script, “View in Italy”, along with the round Bloor Derby mark. Plate is in very good condition. There is one small area of the rim that is rough/sandy, most likely a glaze imperfection.
