Description: up for auction is this wonderful and very rare antique hand carved antique Black Forest sculpture very finely carved pair of birds - hunting wild birds or bird figures, partridges as if freshly killed from the hunt, ancient probably 19th century hand carved most probably walnut. Very decorative - The pair of birds is hung on a ribbon as was customary in the past and is carved in great detail - it measures approx. 35 cm x 25 cm 14“ x 10" - and is in good used condition for its age.
