Description: This antique hardcover edition of "Biographical, Critical, and Miscellaneous Essays, and Poetical Works" comes in acceptable to good condition, with paper split a few pages past the front hinge (otherwise intact binding), writing in ink opposite the half-title page, very light edge wear and soiling to the spine and cover, and minor soiling and yellowing of the inside pages (see pictures). The book has ornate gilt ornamentation on the spine and cover. It encompasses several of Lord Macaulay's works, including "The Lays of Ancient Rome".The book was published by Ward, Lock & Company (undated).I have several great items listed, and would gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases.
