This is the exact item the winning bidder will receive. USED... I do not know how well the instrument works (and do not know how to go about testing it). Instrument exhibits numerous scratches and some paint fading and chipping. There is a place on the top near the front lens where it looks like it got extra paint--or something else--spilled on it. Everything I tried to move seemed to move quite freely; however, I can not get the scope to rotate as I can on other pieces. Front lens looks slightly hazy around the rim/outer edge. Case exterior shows many scratches and nicks and lots of fading. Hard to tell if that is the original paint. Latches connect but seem a bit loose. The connecting end of the leather carrying strap broken off (but included). All four "feet" and metal ends protectors are firmly in place. No notable cracks or other damage. Inside is a bit dusty. Everything seems to be sturdily in place. Please inspect pics carefully BEFORE bidding and do not bid if you expect to receive items that are somehow "better" than the ones pictured and described here. NO RETURNS...
