Description: This is a rare design. I wasn't able to find another picture of one like this. It features 4 women's heads at each corner done in an early Art Nouveau style while still using the fleur-de-lis and quatrefoil from the Victorian style. I don't know where it came from apart from Chicago, which is where I'm at. (Local pickup available) I used some stripper that took several layers of paint off. It's down to the bare metal on the right side in the photos and another couple of layers that wouldn't come off with the 2 applications I did. I didn't pursue it further. I wanted to clean it up and make a silicone mold of it, then make foam replicas for a ceiling in my home, but... The tile is bent at the edges and nailed to a 23"x23" wood frame. So there's 1/2 bent around each edge.
