Thank you for understanding.Item description and condition:The craftsmanship and work on this piece is simply superb.ITEM solid silver estimated at 90 grams( see scale in pics) Probably made in , England UK as it is stamped sterling, perhaps these were imported after the enamelling was specially done, hence why no British hall marks....? The enamelling features 2 bird scenes ( Blue jay and Thrush/ Robin.?)on either end, and 4 corners done in Old English roses, Violas/ pansies, Bramble berry/ Blackberrys, & Cornus / dogwood blossoms/ Cistus Rock roses) An amazing item stamped 'sterling' gilt tray in presentation box,The tray is in superb used condition with scratches,small surface indentations gilt gold wash is evident on the back only, Gilt has rubbed on the front...there is one tiny rubbing hole from age and use,(See red arrows in pics)The enamel is miraculously UN- harmed...? wow and there is nothing missing, very shiny gloss to the enamel, no major chips, the silver is clearly stamped Sterling silver and has a impressed number, we tested the item and its solid sterling silver.. for sure.Please see all 12 pics showing this incredible piece, item is in an amazing presentation box , silk and velvet are in good shape and there is some minor wear to the outside of box. please see box and all measurements and weights in ALL 12 pics,Catch and button clasps works well,box opens and closes and clicks shut very nicely. a super stylish and amazing item to have surfaced here in Africa in this condition is quite astounding, thanks for looking
