Antique Art Deco Bridge Arm Floor Lamp Brass ALMco

Description: Antique Art Deco bridge arm floor lamp by Art Lamp Manufacturing of Chicago. This lamp is brass and brass coated. The base is wrought iron with a fitted brass cover. The pole sleeves and set rings are brass. The 3 spacers and bridge arm appear to be brass or brass plated in shades of gold and rose gold. There is an ornate toothed swivel for light shade angling and an acanthus leaf cover hiding the socket. A period white and tan cased glass shade is included. When found the lamp was very dirty and cleaning revealed the brass. It was then noted that the bridge arm was soldered at the far end where a crack developed in the bottom rung. This does not distract from the appearance or function as evidenced in the pictures. I am completely honest and accurate with the condition of the lamps I sell. The lamp was rewired for safety. All parts are original with exception of a new Uno ring for the shade. The base is marked with a paper label ALMCO Chicago. See photo of company ad dated 1919. The height is 58 inches with a bridge arm width of 12 inches. It is a very heavy lamp. Shipping will be in 3 boxes with simple reassembly directions.
