Description: Antique American Needlework Sampler 1843, Eliza Hoad Age 9 Very good condition with light blue, brown and tan lettering, upper case and lower case alphabet at top half of register and "Eliza Hoad Aged 9 Years, 1843" on bottom half flanked by flower and bird designs. Appears to be in original gilt framing, frame has age wear and is without glass. Measures approximately 9" x 12".
