Antique AGFA Ansco WOOD View Camera w/5x7 & 4x5 Ground Glass, Bausch & Lomb Lens

Description: I really don't know a lot about view cameras--- I've never actually used one, except for a few Graflex cameras I've had in my collection. But I'll do my best in assessing this one-----> This is an Old and Rare Item--- a Complete Large Format Studio or Field Camera to shoot 5 x 7 or 4x5 inch Sheet Film or Glass Plate Images (wet or dry I suppose)--- there is a Ground Glass Back for each size. I think it's from about the 1930's, give or take a few years. It's generally very solid and working, and in Very Good Condition with Two Main problems. It also might possibly need some lubrication of the gears etc, but everything is working reasonably well the way it sits, considering it's about 80-90 years old. It's generally very solid, no missing parts that I see. It has nice Wood with Brass fittings for the most part, but there are a lot Nicks, Scuffs, Scratches and some dust here and there--- primarily on the bottom and on the 5x7 back. So it's far from Mint, but with some TLC it could be a good worker. And there are a couple of issues to take note of--- 1) The lens/shutter is made by Bausch & Lomb--- you can see the specs of it it in the close-up pics. The shutter doesn't work well--- it cocks and fires, but only at a couple of the speeds and I don't think they are accurate. On a couple of the speeds it clicks and it looks like it moves, but not much happens. The aperture blades look a little funny and I don't think they are working properly either. The lens glass looks good--- maybe a slight bit of haze or dust, but it seems it will need an overhaul/fix. 2) The bellows is in nice shape--- mostly, it is fairly flexible--- not cracking or falling apart, but it has some serious holes at the first 3 or 4 fold corners--- when it is full extended. It's double layered, and I see at least two holes from the inside, so it will need some repair, sealer, patching in a couple spots at least, but I did not inspect it fully for others or pinholes, so there may be more. Aside from those two things, there are just general "old Camera" wear & tear issues (and there may be something I don't know about) but it's seems very solid and working well otherwise. The rise/fall & tilt controls work well and it chugs along the tracks very well. And it folds up well. So it's in Very Good overall condition---- seems usable with some work, but it's unknown how well all of the performance nuances are right now. I have not tested everything extensively, beyond my basic "description" testing. But I'm sure with a little TLC by someone who knows how to use it, it could be a good worker again. But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect. Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it... and I might have missed something.
