Description: Very good condition and a nice example of American Brilliant Period cut glass. The stopper has some flea bites as seen in the pictures. Both the rim and stopper rim are numbered 91. No chips or cracks. There are 2 cornflowers, one cut in each side of the cruet. 7 inches tall w/stopper, 4.25 inches width at widest point. The American brilliant.period lasted from approximately 1880-1925. The cornflower pattern was developed in 1912 by a young Canadian glass-cutter named William John Hughes, and became very popular in the first half of the 20th century.
