Description: Antique 6.75" LCT Favrile Style Hellenistic Warrior Hoplite Cased Art Glass Vase Very nice solid antique shape. No cracks. No chips. Depicts a hoplite being stabbed by a man, or god with a trident. Possibly Poseidon? Vase shows normal wear and age. It has some light scuffing, and a few scratches. I'm unsure of exact age, but the collection it came out of had hardly any contemporary pieces. I don't see a makers mark or signature anywhere, and I can't find anyone that has any knowledge about this piece's origin. This collector had an eye for glass, and collected some of the best. It definitely has a Tiffany or Quezal look, but I have no idea who made it. As always any information is appreciated. Anyway, It displays very well. Measures 6.75" tall. Top diameter is 5.75" and base diameter is 3.25". See pictures to make your own determination on physical condition.
