Description: Medallion with eagle (one inch diameter) with patent date Dec. 27, 1888. Skewback with about a 26 inch long and a 6 3/4inch to 2 1/4 inch wide blade, 4 hole with split nut construction. Ornate handle, great patina. No cracks, no missing parts. (I inherited this from a very fine elderly relative 60 years ago. He was a great carpenter and worker in general. Note on blade near handle there's a dab of orange paint. He placed such a dab of orange paint on every one of his "best tools".) I've enjoyed this saw for decades but am now getting to age things "must change" so someone else can enjoy its craftmanship, age, and great appearance.
